Poster Art Contest for 2023

Poster Art Contest for Eugene Pagan Pride 2023

As we ramp up work on our 2023 event, we will be producing posters, flyers and other marketing images to publicize the event.

Our own talented Executive Director, Christine Riddle, designed last year’s poster image, which appeared in all of our 2022 marketing. This year, we are requesting submissions from the Eugene art community that will reflect our earth-centered and inclusive values, Eugene’s own brand of magic, and our 2023 theme “A Very Faery Harvest Festival”.

We are looking forward to seeing what magic and mischief Eugene’s talented pool of artists can produce. Now to the rules:

Entrants warrant that their entries are 100% original creations, are not the product of an AI image generation program, and do not infringe on any existing intellectual property. They also agree to assign rights to their entries to Eugene Pagan Pride, an Oregon nonprofit corporation, and well as their name and likeness for promotional and merchandising use related to Eugene Pagan Pride 2023. Finalists’ names and entries will appear on website and social media related to the 2023 competition.

Artwork can be created in any media, but entries need to be submitted in digital form (see technical requirements below). Entries should be emailed to eugeneppday@gmail.com as attachments; the email should include the artist’s name and contact information. Entries are due by May 1st, 2023.

Three finalists will be chosen from all entries by Eugene Pagan Pride staff. The finalists will be contacted so we can arrange to get their headshots, bios and social media links for inclusion on both the finalist page, and in social media posts related to the contest.

Finalists will be put to a public vote via our website and social media accounts. Voting will be open for two weeks from May 15th through May 29th, and the winner will be contacted and announced by June 1st.

The winning image will be used for promotional materials and merchandise for Eugene Pagan Pride 2023, The winning artist will receive a T-Shirt and tote bag from our merchandise line, and copies of all promotional materials.
